Commerce Electrical Contracting Corp. wishes to develop a full scale apprentice program in order to cultivate a well-trained skilled work force through rigorous training, which will grow into a loyal workforce and thus minimize turnover. Commerce does a lot of municipal work where the voids of labor can be filled by apprentices who need the opportunity to learn and mature into skilled mechanics. The principal of Commerce Electrical Contracting Corp. has himself come up through the ranks of apprenticeship and he feels that he is uniquely qualified to implement such a program in order to train new electricians in the latest technological skills by providing work and opportunities to such willing interns resulting in mutually beneficial values. Currently, Commerce has approximately twenty-five percent of its work-force under the Company’s beginner electricians training program.
